After more than fifteen years the SDO are now one of the most sought after Swing orchestras in Europe.
The orchestra has revived classics from Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Cole Porter, and hits from the likes of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. They also have another string to their bow. Brand new interpretations in a swing style of modern songs from the likes of Van Morrison and Sting. In the words of Duke Ellington's classic song "It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing."
The SDO is more than just a band. They are renowned for the Varieté shows they have staged with breathtaking performances from international artistes of the trapeze, magicians, jugglers and more.
Bandleader Stefan Warmuth has chosen musicians from all over the world to be in the orchestra. Together with singers like Grahame Patrick, Yamil Borges or show host and singer Robin Merrill, or comedian Thomas Nicolai they can make every event they perform at an unforgettable experience.
They've delighted fans all over germany, Switzerland and Auistria, and beyond from China to the United Arab Emirates. The press have been impressed too…
